As a Lodging Specialist at Cornerbrooks Pet Bed & Breakfast, you will be responsible for providing individualized attention and customizable pet care services to our guests. You will work closely with our guests to ensure that their needs are met and that they receive the best possible care during their stay.

• Provide enrichment-based pet care services to dogs and cats
• Maintain specialized accommodations to best suit each pet’s individual needs
• Customize visits through scheduled activities, personal services, feeding routines and more
•  Follow precise instructions for administering medications to ensure pets’ well-being 
• Ensure the physical and mental health and well-being of our guests

• Passionate about animal welfare

As an Enrichment Counselor, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the physical and mental well-being of our beloved guests. Your primary focus will be creating a stimulating and joyful environment for pets during their stay. Through enrichment activities, personalized care, and individual attention, you’ll contribute to their happiness and overall experience.

• Implement our unique enrichment approach, which emphasizes mental and physical stimulation. Engage pets in activities that challenge their minds, encourage play, and promote overall health.
• Customize care plans based on each pet’s specific needs. Whether it’s a playful dog or a curious cat, you’ll provide one-on-one interactions that cater to their personalities.
• Use positive reinforcement techniques, including clicker training, to encourage good behaviour and reinforce manners.
• Facilitate social interactions among pets and supervise playtime.
• Keep the facilities tidy, sanitized, and conducive to pet comfort.
• Regularly update pet parents on their fur babies’ activities and well-being.

• You genuinely love animals and are committed to their welfare.
• Previous experience in pet care, animal behaviour, or related fields is preferred.
• Certification in pet care, training, or enrichment is a plus.
• Pets have unique personalities and needs; patience and empathy are essential.

You will work closely with our guests and pet parents to customize their visits and ensure that their needs are met.
